My family celebrated Christmas a week early this year, and my seasonal job has been keeping me very busy: in short, I’ve been in a bit of a holidaze.

This episode… I can’t even begin to describe. Just listen. I had to wipe my eyes to continue working when I heard the first song: Walsh & McAuley really brought Nadia Ali’s tune to life. I hope everyone’s been well. And dry. (Atlanta’s decided to become a lake over the past few days.)

Shoutbox… almost didn’t make it into the episode. I found it last minute. It’s presence alone turned this mix from a fairly low-key episode into a something that had me (and hopefully you) dancing in your seat. I’ve been waiting for We Need Them for a while.. it’s a fantastic production by one of my favorite producers. I found Half Light on a podcast and it blew me away – Max Graham’s remixes have had that effect on me recently. The following track by Armin was featured on the Mirage bonus CD and it’s fantastic – probably my favorite on the disc. Fractured 2010 I found while listening to an old episode of ASOT… my roommate and his friends woke me up late one night and this was playing out, I stumbled out of bed and wrote down the title before passing back out. :)

After the set was over I couldn’t speak – I was pretty much overrun with the best of emotions. I was bouncing around for the rest of the night after that. :)

This episode starts off with a fantastic remix of a great BT song. I remember first hearing this remix on Armin’s radio show back in friggin APRIL (or at least Spring) so I’m glad it’s finally released! Next is a tune I heard on takum‘s (amazing) summer mix — this tune blew me away. I have a feeling it will do the same to you. Overseas takes you to the beach and Atlantis takes you down into the water for a very mellow melodic tune. Things pick up with Magnesium, which I would be fantastic in a big room I think — leading up to the finale of Ali Wilson’s remix of Full Focus.
